At Central Park Optical the health of a patient’s eyes is our priority. As well as achieving the best optical vision, we proactively search to identify eye diseases earlier.

With this aim, our practice has invested in the latest technological equipment. We are able to carry out visual field testing, corneal topography ( to map changes to the surface of the eye) and retinal photography to record retinal structures in more detail.

Central Park Optical also has an Optical Coherence Tomographer which allows us to scan though the layers of the retina. This allows identification of eye diseases earlier and provides detailed information in monitoring for progressive diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
